Missing Formula
Solution
Archived articles are automatically deleted from Salesforce indexes at regular intervals. Backend jobs can automatically delete a maximum of 200 articles in a single run. If you have archived a huge volume of articles, it is advisable to contact SearchUnify support for the mass removal of archived articles from the index. For other content sources, you can remove an item from the index the following way -
-
Log in to the admin panel.
-
Go to Content source
-
Under the Documents column, click on the number of documents reflecting for a particular content source.
-
Search for the desired article and delete it.
For Khoros - In SearchUnify we use Subscription events (Move, delete, update subscription events) to capture the information from the Khoros content source. In this case we request you to first check if you have enabled the Subscription events from the Khoros content source. Add given below suffix to your admin URL "/restapi/vc/events/subscriptions" (example - https://SU.searchunify.com/restapi/vc/events/subscriptions) to find the status of the subscription event.
Also, In some community instances archive articles are stored in boards. In case Boards are crawled by SU crawlers, these will not be automatically deleted by backend jobs. In case all archive articles are stored in single board, it is advisable to create a formula to hide the board and its associated archived articles. Please see article on how to create a new formula to hide boards containing archive articles.
