Facets in the side navigation are missing

The possible reasons for the facets not appearing in the Search Client are:
- Facet is not selected in the Search Client Settings.
The field from where the facts have to be shown is not selected in the Search Client settings. It can be set up from Search Client > Edit a Search Client > Content Sources (Tab) > Select the content source > Select the object from where the facets are to be shown.
This will show all the available fields in the Object. Check the Filters column which should be checked for a field to be shown as a facet. Please refer to the attached screenshot.
- Newly added values are not indexed.
The newly added values in the field will appear as per the frequency set up in the content source. So please check the frequency set up under Content source settings to check the frequency for the next crawling.
- Crawling failed.
In case the crawling is failed the facet values will not be crawled which could also be one of the cases. Please refer to the below link for more information on the same:
