Unable to Find Khoros Board and Its Articles

Problem Statement

• SU cannot find a Khoros board and its articles.
• Search isn’t working correctly after an update in the structure of the Khoros community.
• Updated (or new) content is not in search results

Solution

First case: The issue occurs when the board is hidden. The SU crawler cannot find the hidden board and the articles inside the hidden board. To fix it, make the board accessible to search users.
Second case: When the structure of a Khoros community undergoes a change, boards and categories are updated. To maintain consistency in search, recrawl the entire content source.
Third case: Set up four event subscriptions to index the latest content: (1) create, (2) update, (3) move, and (4) delete. In some cases, if any of the subscriptions stop working then SearchUnify does not receive updated data from Khoros, and search users cannot find the latest results.
