Deleted Questions Showing Up in Search
Hi there,
Our team just launched a redesign of our Community. Within that, about 300 Community Q&A questions didn't import, so they're not accessible. However, users keep finding those 300 Community questions in search. When they click on those search results, they get an error page (since it doesn't exist in this iteration of the Community). Is there a way to systematically remove these? Will the auto archiver, which I know is for articles, catch them?

I'm thinking this may depend on the nature of the integration you have between SearchUnfiy and whatever technology you run your community on.
In our case, the SearchUnify team needed to put in place a special process to ensure content that was archived/removed from our community site subsequently got removed from the SearchUnify content source. The out-of-the-box integration from SearchUnify didn't do that automatically. We use the Khoros Communities platform.0 -
Hey @... !
For Salesforce, SearchUnify has an active mechanism (OOTB) for deletion. If the Q&A's have been removed from Salesforce in your newly designed community as mentioned in your comment, they should automatically reflect in your index. We had a chat with engineering and it doesn't look like a SearchUnify problem.
Still we are keeping an eye on the issue and will keep informing you. Could you keep us posted if you have more details?
Thanks!0
