Just within the last week myself and other users have noticed that we cannot export reports under Search Analytics.

While we can have them emailed to us, the download option simply doesn't work, even though we see "Report created! success."

@jshenricks This seems to be an issue with the implementation. I've escalated it to our Support team to check this issue. We'll fix it on priority and give you an update very soon.

FYI, Search Analytics exports/downloads still are not working. Only email is working.

How can I get a thumdnail displayed for search results? I seem to recall seeing thumbnails displayed for YouTube results but I'm no longer seeing it. Is this still available in Mamba 20?

Depending on content source, some of our search results have wildly different outputs when including the original HTML. In certain cases, this can significantly increase the height of each search result. How do we prevent this in search results? Note: This includes stripping images, which sometimes appear as a broken image. Issue #1 - Results appear as if you're viewing the full page. Issue #2 - Results appear with a table that has a lot of extra white space Issue #3 - Results blow out a table header (similar to extra white space in tables) Issue #4 - Results appear with a broken image.** Issue #5 - Results appear with large font sizes Issue #6 - Results display content that's in reverse of the order it appears in the document itself. Issue #7 - Results appears with special characters described at https://unicodelookup.com/#�/1

In the documentation at https://docs.searchunify.com/Content/End-User-Personalization/Use-Advanced-Search.htm, it says the following: Limits the search to documents that contain the term or phrase following +. When I perform the following search, I would expect the exact phrase "removal tool," based on documentation. # cleanwipe +removal tool Instead, I am seeing results that perform as if the +removal tool is simply using AND operator instead of the exact phrase "removal tool" (e.g. "removal" and "tool" can be far apart from each other), and then other results in the same query that don't have some of the words (e.g. some results are missing the word "tool" in the entire article/page content). Can you provide clarity around this operator?

Is there a way to get a custom report that shows the top search queries in a given time window for a specific search client. I see the default top search report on the dashboard but that is for the last month and I can't see a specific search client (seems to be for all search clients)

Is it possible to allow users to initiate an advanced search using hashtag (#) without a space? For example,: #"my search string" #<SPACE>"my search string" While the number is small, we have a number of searches where users don't include a space, which sometimes produces different results, as shown below: #"how to configure * agent" - 10 results WITH a space vs 115 results WITHOUT a space #"how to configure * apm" - 4 results WITH a space vs 32 results WITHOUT a space #"maximum number of connections" - 628 results WITH a space vs 1189 results WITHOUT a space #" sqlcode = -438" - 72 results WITH a space vs 135 results WITHOUT a space At this time, I mainly see this being an issue when performing an exact match search without a space. That is, most other searches work the same with or without a space, but we do sometimes see a one result difference, such as: #"install" - 132967 results WITH a space vs 132968 results WITHOUT a space #oom wily agent core - 157183 WITH a space vs 157184 results WITHOUT a space

As part of our effort to improve conversions, I'm curious if we can exclude certain phrases that unncessarily impact the conversion rate. For example, these searches in our top 50 "Searches With No Clicks" are too generic or vague, and it's not a surprise that we'd see a large number of zero clicks unless the user refines that query. By itself, the product Symantec Endpoint Protection really skews results. symantec endpoint protection - product name endpoint protection - product name symantec - company/division name endpoint - too generic symantec endpoint - product name ghost - product name norton - old symantec division name liveupdate - product technology, too vague endpoint protection cloud - product name symantec messaging gateway - product name symantec email security.cloud - product name Because these searches occur at such a high rate, it'll be difficult to see actual improvements based on conversion rate.

Our searches, both internal and external, can include versions of a product. However, there are often differences between proper product versions in our documents and how users actually search for those versions. For example, for this actual customer search problem, "sysview mq 9.2", we would want the following document returned: https://support.broadcom.com/download-center/solution-detail.html?aparNo=SO15546&os=z%2FOS However, it's not returned because it contains the text "9.2.0". What's interesting is that search does find other documents with the text "9.2.x". https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-mainframe-software/performance-and-storage/ca-sysview-performance-management/16-0/installing/prepare-for-installation/required-software.html https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-mainframe-software/performance-and-storage/ca-sysview-performance-management/16-0/installing/prepare-for-installation/supported-software-and-ca-products.html To summarize, a search for "sysview mq 9.2" returns 2 documents that contain the text "9.2.x", but not documents that contain "9.2.0", or even simply "9.2" (by dropping the trailing "0". We can improve our search tips article to encourage users to use wildcards when searching for versions, but is there a way to tokenize versions that include ".x" and ".0" so that it also works for just "9.2"? Note: This is just one example of many that would be affected by this.

Hi, We are capturing the session details. The session details are being passed through an iFrame page. This gives the data of the SU session as well as the calling application session. This is causing a conflict. This can be taken up as an idea to be fixed for all clients. Regards, Dinesh
