Is it possible to crawl content within PDFs embedded in docs?

I tried to search content that is already added in our PDF documents embedded on this page: https://docs.acquia.com/service-offerings/products-and-services-guide

However, the search results did not show this page as a relevant result. How can we ensure that content within embedded PDFs is indexed and available in SU searches?

  We have gotten around this, but they (SU) had to manually pull in each pdf. Not optimal.
